A traditional white wedding will always stand the test of time. This is exactly what Sports Illustrated model and #CeciBride Brooks Nader envisioned for her luxuriously elegant event at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Orleans, Louisiana.
On their wedding day, Brooks and fiance William were married in a picturesque historic church. A stunning arrangement of white flowers and lush greenery hung above the whitewashed wooden doors that led into the ceremony. Guests celebrated the newlyweds with a classic Cajun jazz band that moved from the church to the reception in the open-air courtyard of Old Ursuline Convent. Ivory, white, and gray linen couches, ottomans, and pillows created a warm lounge area for the cocktail hour. The couple’s custom crest was painted in a wreath of greenery on the front of the charming bar. Gold finishes added shine to the antique inspired decor that sprinkled the space. Natural bouquets and neutral table textures brought a calm air to this outdoor event which was elevated with diamond lanterns and glass accessories.
After dinner, guests were surprised with a grand six-tier cake that presented cascading white flowers on clean white icing. The night wrapped up on the tented dance floor in the garden, where the couple was celebrated under the stars as well a jazz band second line to Bourbon street. Nothing but a beautiful wedding for the beautiful couple. Congrats to Brooks and William!
