AMSALE
Ethiopian-born designer Amsale Aberra first considered creating bridal attire when she was hunting for her own wedding dress in 1985. Frustrated by the lack of classic, timeless gowns, she designed her own, and in 1986 she launched her own label, designing custom wedding dresses from her garment-district loft. With the motto “forever modern,” the label’s gowns are known for their classic elegance and understated adornment, like handcrafted beading or a blue sash at the waist.

YOSSI HARARI FINE JEWELRY
As Yossi himself says, “My jewelry is a contrast between the old and the new. Although I am inspired by archeological jewels of the past, I have a modern, bold interpretation of classic designs.” Incorporating precious and semiprecious gemstones with 24 karat gold, the versatility of the jewelry is expressed in the way it is worn – a dramatic yet relaxed layering of pieces. Each piece is unique and makes a statement on its own, but the layering of different pieces allows the woman to create her own look. Even when piled on, the overall effect is still elegantly laid-back.
