ELIZABETH PAZMINO, HAIR STYLIST
Elizabeth Pazmino, a high-end hair and make-up artist based in New York City, was born in Ecuador and raised in New York. Her work in the family business in designing custom head pieces and veils for brides has focused her passion for hair and make-up. Working with prestigious clients such as Lauren Weisberger’s author of “The Devil Wears Prada” has enriched her creative side to accomplish a picture-perfect look for brides. Her main focus has been to achieve a captivating result for every bride who requires a different and unique look on their wedding day. For the past three seasons she has worked in Couture Fashion Shows on creative make-up looks for designers such as Andres Aquino, Sushma Patel, Indashio, Soucha Mlihigue, and many more.

Claire’s drive and passion has lead her to New York via Washington, DC. Growing up, she spent most of her childhood overseas as the daughter of a Foreign Service Officer which gave her the opportunity to travel around the world. Her knowledge and experience has lead her to work with some of the industry’s most talented artists and photographers ranging from print and film.

With nineteenth-century eccentric aristocrat Marchesa Casiti as their muse, designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig brought to life the icon’s grandiose vision of being a living work of art. In 2004, Marchesa was officially established, and quickly exploded as a favorite among celebrities and critics alike. In 2006, the label was named one of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund’s top ten finalists. Ethiopian-born designer Amsale Aberra first considered creating bridal attire when she was hunting for her own wedding dress in 1985. Frustrated by the lack of classic, timeless gowns, she designed her own, and in 1986 she launched her own label, designing custom wedding dresses from her garment-district loft. With the motto “forever modern,” the label’s gowns are known for their classic elegance and understated adornment, like handcrafted beading or a blue sash at the waist.

From Emmy Award-winning sets to scene-stealing style, Jessica Milstein Cohen is an expert in staging a look of significance. Her eight years of production industry success earned her a 2003 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/Set Decoration/Scenic Design, as well as three consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations (2002-2004). It’s easy to leave work and be transported to a tropical getaway, especially if you’re at Salsa y Salsa, where the walls are covered with stencils of hibiscus flowers; oilcloths are floral, orange, and yellow; and a playful, blue glass chandelier hangs from above. The food is equally colorful, a pan-Mexican cuisine with specialties like chicken or duck breast in mole sauce as well as Yucatan-style roast chicken.
