I was born to a very creative family; one of ten children. I begged my Mother to teach me to sew. At the age of twelve I created my first dress. I sewed for myself, my children,and their friends ever since. Trifari is one of the brightest stars of all the costume jewelry makers. Beginning as Trifari, Krussman & Fishel in the 1920′s, they still make jewelry under the Trifari name today. In my work, my inspiration comes from years spent abroad in Japan, from travel and film, costuming and haute couture, pin-up and punk rock.
