HAND-PAINTED WATERCOLOR WEDDING INVITATIONS

One of the biggest trends for 2012 is hand-painted watercolor wedding invitations. We here at Ceci New York are artists at heart and love using our art and design degrees to create beautiful, exclusive pieces for our clients. This week I’m sharing a few of our favorite new designs to show you what I mean. Lately there’s been this wonderful return to a more classic mood so we used watercolors in a very elegant and subtle way. By using washes of color we created a lovely ombre effect that flows softly across the paper – very tasteful and refined. I love to apply this technique on backgrounds or to add a fill color to the illustrations. See our latest works, below.
