Although we are constantly utilizing new techniques and creative visuals in our designs, quality artistry is always at the heart of our process. In this fresh, boho invitation with luxurious touches of gold, our team took great care in creating an elegant suite that was made from the most refined materials and detailed finishes. The handcrafted elements that carried through each piece set this beautiful invitation apart.
Our team was delighted to draw inspiration from the personality and style of #CeciBride Sarah. Engaged to fiance Corey, who she met while living in LA, it was clear that the couple associated the bohemian, chill vibe of California with their story and wanted to highlight this feeling in their designs. We also knew that it was important to bring the best of the best to this invitation suite so that it would set an elevated tone for the luxe historic Charleston wedding to come.
Beginning with the save the date, we used a dip-dye method to create layers of teal colors that washed the card with bright, cool tones. Gold foil brush strokes framed the event details and added a shimmering touch to the relaxed feel of this design. Many of the same techniques were carried into the wedding invitation and accessories.

On the outside of the invitation, a bold teal custom converted envelope was hand calligraphed in gold script with a gold foil brushstroke painted across the back flap. Inside, a watercolor wash sat along the liner of the envelope that featured various teal tones, forming an ombre effect and wave-like shapes. A linen inner envelope was tucked within, wrapped in two textured layered ribbons, one hand dyed ivory, and the other teal suede. A die-cut shape was tied within the center of the ribbons and detailed the guest's names in coordinating hand calligraphed gold script. A watercolor liner decorated the inside which opened up to the invitation card with its matching wave like design and gold finishes. In all four corners, gold grommets attached to the back piece of hand painted linen flourished with gold brushstrokes which mirrored those printed on the outer envelopes. The gold edges around each invitation were hand painted by our production team in a rustic style so that no two cards were the same.
Among every detail in these cards was a unique exhibit of craft and artistry. From the watercolor dip dye to the grommeted linen and hand painted finishes, this invitation suite was the perfect take on a luxurious yet calm, boho wedding.
