This year, amfAR raised $20 million for AIDS research, and for the 10th year running, we are honored to have brought their gala invitation to life alongside Studio E.
What it Actually Took
This year's invitation began as a true collaboration with Studio E. What started as a concept went through multiple rounds of revisions, refining the alignment down to the smallest detail, testing material after material and thickness after thickness, until every element felt exactly right. That process of back and forth, of getting it as close to perfect as possible, is what shaped the final piece.
Across 500 invitations, every single screw was hand-turned, four per suite, two thousand in total. Five hundred ribbons were tied by hand, and each suite carried a minimum of three cards, assembled with the same care from the very first invitation to the last. Every piece was quality checked, then checked again, because nothing leaves our hands until it is just right.
Congratulations, amfAR
Ten years in, we are honored to be a small part of such a significant evening. Congratulations to amfAR on reaching this extraordinary $20 million milestone for AIDS research.
