Florals usually belong to spring. Ceci Johnson, founder of Ceci New York, and Maggie Drake, founder of Bandolier, saw room for something different this fall.
After several floral collections together, the two founders had come to know exactly who their customers are. They listened closely to what people were asking for and noticed what was still missing from the market. Drawing on fashion, nature, and art, they turned that conversation into Ceci Midnight Garden, the newest chapter in their collaboration.
From Easel to Leather
Like every Ceci New York design, Midnight Garden began at Ceci’s studio. She hand-painted each bloom in watercolor: crimson and blush roses, violet-blue blooms, and deep green leaves set against black.
From there, the Ceci New York design team mocked up the print, layering each floral one by one until the composition captured the feel they were looking for. Once the design was finalized in Ceci's studio, Bandolier printed it on 100% top grain pebble leather.
Because of the way the leather is cut, no two pieces are exactly alike. It isn’t just another phone case. It’s original art and a custom print, made to be yours alone. We designed the print so that every phone case and floral piece shows a slightly different part of the garden, making each order one of a kind.
The Rae Magnet Duet Wallet
The Rae phone case is made from top grain pebble leather with tarnish-resistant hardware. It’s built for real life and still beautiful enough for an evening out.
A removable magnetic wallet holds up to five cards and cash. The case charges wirelessly and works with MagSafe. You can wear it crossbody, carry it as a wristlet, or use it as a case on its own.
The Finishing Pieces
The Scarf Twilly Wristlet brings Ceci’s watercolor to silk. Tie it to a handle, wrap it around your wrist, or wear it as a strap. On days when you need a little more, the Essentials Set rounds out the Rae with the Expanded Pouch and the AirPods Pouch, so everything you carry matches.
