A Tropical Retro Wedding Invitation With Hidden Meaning and Latin Flai

Each client has their own personality and history. Luckily, we get to show what makes them all different through our custom designs. As the owners of Surge Transportation trucking company, it was important to #CeciBride Tadina and her fiance Omar that we tie in their business in creative ways. We focused on the signature bright red color from their company’s branding and incorporated truck shapes within the details of our design. They also wanted to highlight their Latin culture as well as the Puerto Rican beauty of Dorado Beach in every piece. With playful pops of color and hidden personal touches, this invitation suite was completely unique and totally tropical chic.

Inside of a pearl white envelope with playful script and custom stamps, a colorful graphic art scene featured the couple on top of one of their own bright red Surge Transportation trucks. Omar, dressed in a classic Latin inspired wardrobe, dipped Tadina, who wore a ruffled red polka dot dress with retro curled hair and coordinating red foil heels. Their silhouettes were the perfect picture of the couple and their Latin celebration to come. Behind them, a beach scene painted the ocean and a two-toned orange and yellow sunset that was framed with tall green palm trees. As a final special touch, the wedding date was printed on the license plate of the truck in red foil to add hidden shine to this detailed design.

The liner within the envelope also incorporated these red foil details with glimmering truck silhouettes on top of bright red paper. Retro flourishes danced around the custom bold block logo that sat in the center of the envelope flap, surrounded by delicate palm leaves. This was the same logo that sat on top of Tadina's cake on their wedding day. This entire suite was perfectly tailored to the couple and seamlessly incorporated all of their unique elements for a tropical 50’s glam wedding like none other.
