When Sara Kauss (of Sarah Kauss Photography) first came to us about a styled shoot she was planning at Lucky Old Sun Ranch, we knew that we had to be a part of it. Sara is not only a talented photographer, but she's also the owner of the Jupiter, Florida property. Lucky Old Sun Ranch is the type of venue that you'd expect to find in a small charming Southern town. It doesn't feel like Florida (Mickey is missing and so is the bright deco vibe of South Beach). Instead, there's a ranch-style, down-home vibe–perfect when juxtaposed with elegant watercolor wedding details.
For our part, we wanted the invitation and stationery to feel organic and warm yet show off an unexpected edge. To achieve the look, we melded the old patina look of mercury glass with the romantic elegance of the floral watercolor for a beautiful mix of soft and luxe. Then Ceci Johnson paired the pastels of her watercolor painting with the gold foil to give the design a touch of glamour. Take a look below. We hope you love it!
There is something purely magical about having a party under the stars. And when you blend starry skies with swaying palm trees and a beautiful lake the feeling of serenity is palpable.
That is what Lucky Old Sun Ranch is to the guests that attended weddings, events, concerts at the property. Everyone arrives with a sense of awe and everyone leaves feeling like they've just been to an evening of celebration like no other.
When 59&Bluebell partnered with Lucky Old Sun Ranch to create a visual experience in a styled photo shoot there were a few elements we wanted to convey to the world of destination bride and local wedding couples that were looking for a truly outdoor unique venue that can start off as a blank slate and on their wedding day transform into a magnificent and uniquely creative destination.
Our goal was to showcase our favorite vendors and their exceptional talents in this masterfully crafted styled photo shoot. We wanted to show all that Lucky Old Sun Ranch could truly be along side some of the best vendor partners. From organic flowing florals from Flower & Fringe, to decadent desserts by Earth and Sugar, and of course perfectly appointed paper goods by Ceci New York -- The visual elegance was captured through the lens of Sara Kauss Photography and cinematic expertise of Mike Varel.
We are excited to share these images with you to inspire other creative, outdoor wedding planning events as well as showcase Lucky Old Sun Ranch in all of its glory! Make sure to pay special attention to the beautiful furniture rentals by Salvage Snob and the sweet little food truck by Curbside Gourmet.
