We are a team that is in love with florals and is always looking for new ways to make them more unique. Sometimes, it takes going back to the basics to find that soft and simple can be the most beautiful way to feature blooms of all sorts. When stylists, fashion designers, and former clients Alex and Michael Toccin came to us to design the baby announcement for their new baby girl, they were hopeful that our artwork could be incorporated into a print fit for their new baby's nursery. With an opportunity to create perfectly pink florals, we got to work hand drawing a pattern that would seamlessly flow from the baby’s announcement into her room.
The light pink walls of the nursery glowed in the space that was finished with crisp white furniture and hints of gold and silver. Above the crib hung a mobile with glitter clouds underneath a large canopy that draped from ceiling to floor. This gave a modern princess feel to the room and framed the wooden rails of the crib which were adorned with our custom printed floral fabric bows. This print was the same pattern that our design team created for Liv’s baby announcement. Our floral focused take on the chinoiserie scene carried into the pillows that finished the cozy nook. Clear acrylic accessories, playful stuffed animals, and hints of metallic shine tied the entire nursery together.
